Good, but doesn't live up to expectations
These are very nice binoculars, but the optics do not appear to be any better than my Nikon Monarch which are 1/2 the price. The eyecups are nicer, and they have a little nicer feel than the Monarchs but I don't think that they are worth twice the money.

Pentax 8x43 DCF SP Binoculars
I have been impressed with this product and make use of them whenever I'm in the field. These binoculars and robust enough to be carried in all weathers I encounter and I'm glad not to have to worry about them getting wet etc!
Pros: Robust enough for fieldwork and off-track bird watching
Cons: Can get a little heavy after a full day and with a full pack
