When I discovered the factory tripod adapter (not from Pentax)did not fit the roof prism binoculars of the same brand, an Optics Planet technical assistant recommended the Pentax TP-3 adapter. It worked perfectly.
Pros: Works with roof prism binoculars
Cons: Moderately expensive
