As an astronomer I appreciate fine optics, needed a spotting scope (non astronomy) that is light weight for packing....this one is the best I tried. I have lots of Pentax eyepieces for astronomy...they work fine on this scope and maintain water proofing.
Pros: Construction, optics, water proof, can use any 1 1/4" astronomical eyepiece
Cons: None
