Pentax s series very underrated! - Pentax S-Series Superior SD 8x42mm WP Full Size Roof Prism Binocular

These Pentax S series are great glasses for the money. Bought them for my youngest son for Christmas, My other son has the Vortex Vipers and we all agree the Pentax is better for nearly 1/3 the price. Vortex is charging double for comparables to cover their great warranty. But I’d rather have the better glass, and not made in China like Vortex. I highly recommend the Pentax they might be the best binoculars for the money out there. Haven’t looked through the A series but if commensurately better they’d way out perform the Viper for still slightly less money. In other words Virtex are very overrated, you’re paying for a warranty, take care of your bumps and go for better glass.
