The Phalanx Defense Systems V-Armor Panel for the VERTX VTX5010 Commuter Sling bag is a perfect fit. Remove the plastic panel from the rear zipered compartment and insert the ballistic panel. Yes this Phalanx ballistic panel is pricey but it totally fills the rear compartment.
