No rubber butt-pad. cheap. - Phoenix Technology AK Stock with Storage

As of March 24th 2021, the product info is as follows: "AK stock with storage. Traditional look stock with a modern twist. Rubber Butt pad on stock open to access a roomy inner compartment suitable for storage. Fits AK stamped receivers. made in specialized factories"

The kicker? The butt-pad is not rubber. It's hard plastic. Maybe there's some kind of technicality to call it "rubber" but i'm telling you right now, its indistinguishable from hard plastic.

Further, it's profoundly difficult to open the butt-pad to store anything in it. Full stop. If you think you'll be opening this in the field, you're mistaken.

The sling attachment does not swing freely, not a deal-breaker but along with the flakes of plastic protruding from the seams of the butt-pad formed during manufacturing, it's just another sign of a cheap product.

My budget AK, the PSA GF3, has a far higher quality butt-pad than this, better fitment, and a usable storage space that I can actually access. This was a disappointment in everything from the feel to what was expected as compared to the product description.

Really disappointing because the only thing I REALLY wanted was a rubber butt-pad. I didn't plan on adding a sling, nor using the storage. But it isn't even rubber.
