The OtterBox Defender Case does exactly what it is intended to do. Although I had read some reviews elsewhere that stated this adapter is made from flimsy plastic, I don't agree. With the phone/OtterBox snapped in place there is zero movement. I don't believe there is any alternative that will work as simply as this.
Pros:
  • Very simple to use
Cons:
  • Price. Maybe too high for many to consider.
Best Used for:
  • In combination with a good spotting scope.
