The Plano Molding Plano Single Rifle/Shotgun Case w/Storage Compartment 10-10527 protects my rifle as well as cases costing more than twice as much. It is of relatively light weight. I am a recreational rifle target practice shooter.I use it specifically to transport my rifle to and from the target shooting range.
I use the storage compartment to carry ammunition and tools e.g. small wrenches and screwdrivers. Most more expensive cases do not include a storage compartment.
It is not suitable for airline transport.
Pros: The price is a great value. The storage compartment is useful thanporting tools and ammunition.
Cons: the only negative is there is no lock and thus is not approved for airline transport.
