It works as described - Precision Armament Hypertap Muzzle Brakes, 5.56x45mm NATO

I use this on my Ruger 556 AR with a red dot and magnifier. Before the magnifier, when shooting steel at 200 or 300 yards, the recoil did not allow me to stay on target for rapid followup shots and I could not see if I hit or missed the target. After installing the HyperTap, I could easily shoot rapid follow up shots and see hit or misses. It makes a huge difference! This is my first and only muzzle brake. I viewed multiple glowing reports on the HyperTap which convinced me to go with this. It’s not the cheapest, but I am very happy with it. In my opinion, it was worth every penny. People say Brakes too loud but the sound level wasn’t noticeable to me. The shooter stays inside the blast angle of the brake ports, and shooters on both sides of me also were using brakes, so sound issues are non existent for me.
