Pri steel barrel nut, bulletproof! - Precision Reflex AR15/M16 Replacement Barrel Nuts

I own three (3) PRI forearms and through coincidence, final torque at alignment always seems to come in at the high end of the accepted normal range for me at 60-75 Ft. Lbs. The standard nut supplied by PRI is Aluminum and I have had one or two (NON PRI) AL nuts distort at this torque level so by default I always opt for the steel nut. Overkill perhaps but definite peace of mind for me. Always follow proper thread setting and tightening procedure using AeroShell 33MS or equivalent grease and a 3-5 pin wrench and you will never go wrong. G.I wrenches are OK but higher pin count distributes the force more evenly while tightening and are less prone to distortion.
