I bought this scope a few years back. It is a very solid well built piece of equipment. It is really big so if you are the kind of person that doesn't like it when the scope makes the rifle look small it might not be for you. I occasionally get little specs of packing grease on the lenses. Premier said to bring the scope down hard on a phone book to knock the specs off. Nice that they have that kind of confidence with their scope. But you really shouldn't have to worry about particles on the lenses for the price you are paying.
