Its an ambi safety selector. Shouldnt be too hard to mess up, but it was defective. Installed in brand new ar15 kit, and it would not cycle between safe and fire, simply locked up. Removing it I see the plunger face is marred, and the selector switch is cast very badly. No QC on these apparently. I am still waiting for Optics Planet to respond for replacement.
