I owned this system before, and lost the glasses. This was an exact replacement, since I loved the first pair. Pros: change Rx keeping same glasses Cons: can steam up more in the rain

Vigilante RX adaptor

These glasses are nice for the shooter with prescription lenses. It saves having to buy different lenses for the different colors. With these you just pick your color lens and change in the main frame. The insert frame with the prescription stays the same.

Rx incert for vigilante sunglasses

Fits behind my Vigilante sunglasses and works great. For outdoor work or play, paired with the multi interchangeable lens it is good for day or night use. I ride a motorcycle and they fit under my helmet and are very conformable. So far they are very durable, my last pair lasted through two lens changes.

Have used these for years

I have worn these with my Parole and Vigilante Sunglass's for years as they offer me the ability to have bifocal lens. They are easy to install and remove for cleaning and are very light weight. Unfortunately they are getting harder to find as are the Bolle Glasses that they fit.

Bolle prescription Rx adapter for parole and vigilante sunglasses

Second: I like the fit of these better than the large frame adapter. They don't push on my eyelashes as much and are more comfortable.

Great for RX lenses

This adapter eliminates the problems and expense of curved RX Sunglass lenses. Lenses for these cost $40 vs $400 to $600 for tinted/curved sunglass lenses. And, the Bolle Vigilante frames accept different colors of lenses for golf, tennis, etc.

Prescripion inserts for Bolle Vigilante

I like these better than others I have tried on mid-price shooting glasses. Large field of view, strong and fit very snug in the glasses frame. Because of the more rounded shape the lab charged me less for the prescription than others I have used that were more angled.

Bolle parole Rx adapter

The Rx adapter is an eyeglasses like structure without the arms. It goes right into the bolle sunglasses bridge.

As far as the adapter is concerned, everything is good except the rim appears to be thin. The first one is broken before the lens can be installed. Overall I think this is a good addition.

Great Rx lenses for Bolle sunglasses

I have used Bolle Vigilante sunglasses for years for cycling. I like the style and the ease of switching out lenses, so if one gets scratched you don't lose the entire pair of glasses. These inserts fit snuggly and I don't feel them against my face (not the case with another brand of Rx inserts). Easy to have your optician add your Rx and you're ready to go.
