Not even close - Primary Arms SLx 1-8x24mm Rifle Scope, 30mm Tube, Second Focal Plane (SFP)

This was my first try with Primary Arms and let me tell you it will be my last. I am glad that others have had good experiences with this scope but mine was quite the opposite. I got this as an XMAS present so I did not mount or sight it in until after Optics Planets 30 day return policy or this thing would definitely be going back. I was not expecting this thing to stack up to higher priced scopes but this thing is truly disappointing. Out of the box it looked good but cheap glass and fish eye were immediately present. Once on the range I could not zero this thing out. At 25yds no matter how much I adjusted it would not come far enough left to zero. Removed and re-seated the scope and got the exact same results. Finally after 2 hours and a couple boxes of ammo I finally pulled it off and put my old Burris fixed 3x back on and had it sighted in in less than 15 minutes. I will send this to PA and see if they fix it but rest assured when it comes back it will be for sale immediately. Do yourself a favor and spend the money and buy some nicer glass.
