Old Ranger Doc's Review of Primary Arms SLx 3x Long Eye Relief Magnifier
Magnifier looks good. .. but needs Primary Arms mount. The swing away mount is WAY too high (like International Space Station High) given the eye relief and the bolt on rails for 30 carbine and Mini 14/30 (the rifles I'm using this on). Much better is the Vortex VMX-3T magnifier, that has an integral mount, don't have to buy separate, and sits quite a bit lower ( but has shorter eye relief). Best solution looks like Primary Arms 3x compact scope. Set that up on a new Inland 30 carbine, but haven't shot yet. If Planet Optics would send me another 3x Compact scope for 223 and for 7.62x39 (300 Blackout), I'll be happy to review those.
