Unacceptable field of view - Primary Arms SLx 3x Long Eye Relief Magnifier

I purchased this magnifier having used Primary Arms optics in the past without any issues, but this one didn't cut it. When you adjust the field of view to center your red dot the top of the field of view gets cut off and the image is no longer a perfect circle. This is not part of the red dot sight blocking the view because the chopped portion is still present when you look through the magnifier without anything in front of it. I contacted Primary Arms and told them my problem and we checked all potential variables (mount, height, allotment, etc.) before sending it to them to inspect and replace. They sent me a new one with a different serial number and it did the exact same thing. This was unfortunate because the price is great and the glass is clear, but having the image chopped at the top is unacceptable. I will be returning the magnifier and trying a different brand.
