Poor quality control - Primary Arms SLx Advanced Rotary Knob Microdot Red Dot Sight

I submitted a review on the Primary Arms website but they only publish positive reviews. I received two of the Advanced SLX red dots yesterday. Both were defective. Almost half of the sight picture is blurred out with a red haze. This is the case even on the lowest daytime brightness setting. I own other primary arms red dots. Specifically this same model with the push button brightness selection and none of those suffer from this problem. Primary Arms emailed me and said this is totally normal and under fast target acquisition I won’t even notice the blurred out sight picture. What a joke. I’ve come to the conclusion that these Chinese made optics just aren’t worth the risk if you intend to rely on them in a defensive situation.
