Very Disappointed In Primary Arms Optics's Review of Primary Arms SLx Gen II 3x Compact Prism Scope,Illum ACSS 7.62x39 / 300BLK CQB Reticle
I mounted this to a Daniel Defense SBR with a silencerco, and shot 273 rounds of subs/supers over a period of a year. Never was able to get the reticle Bdc to work with 220/208 subs, 125/150 supers, I tried different combination with 110, always a 5-12” deviation between the subs and supers. The reticle melted is the best description. The reticle inside looks like an S. I Called Primary Arms since this is an obvious manufacture defect. I was told since this model was discontinued that I needed to buy another model, they offered a small discount that does not even compare to what I could buy for the same suggested model on optics planet. Why would I buy another primary arms optic ( I own 7) ever again. The reticle melted!! This is a toy for a weekend warrior not anything that can be depended on for long term, or even short term. I took a chance on CHINA MADE, and got a weak warranty, poor Customer service support, very disappointed. In this case be warned.
Pros:
- cost
Cons:
- Poor construction
- Made in China
- weak customer service
- Reticle melts
- weak warrenty
Best Used for:
- Weekend warrior
- not for long term use
- not for any prolonged work
- not for use in a serious situation
