Most Helpful Positive Review Excellent Value
I've had this optic for a few range sessions now and I am really impressed with it. It is Well above its price point as far as turret tracking and glass clarity edge-to-edge. I've owned a couple of high-end night forces and some MK 6 Leupold scopes and I tell you the turret clicks and glass Clarity ...

Most Helpful Negative Review Bad illumination
The sample i recieved is excellent in everyway except illumination. On the brightest setting you cant see it on a sunny day. The illuminated chevron has black specs in it, looks like its not etched all the way for the illumination. I feel like at $750.00 and a huge illumination knob it should be ...

Bought for a Ruger American Ranch 300BLK - Works Great!

by Dan, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on October 9, 2023
I picked this up for an oddball setup: Ruger American Ranch in 300 Blackout. It fills the medium distance role well and the maximum magnification complements the outer range of the 300 Blackout caliber well.

Bought for a BCM SPR style upper

by Frosty, from AZ, United States Written on August 15, 2023
Thrilled with this optic. Got some 400 and in shooting with it already, and once the fire bans go down here in AZ more than excited to push it to distance. For $750, I couldn’t be happier. Massive eye relief compared to most other MPVO’a I have shot (at least not nightforce price range) and extremely crisp glass. If you plan on shooting anything over 600, you’re going to want to consider this.
Pros:
  • Price
  • Glass Quality
  • Reticle Design
Cons:
  • none so far
  • Needs a piggyback red dot for NVG/acquisition
Best Used for:
  • spr
  • 600-1000 for 5.56

Primary Arms GLx 2.5-10

by Stan, from TX, United States Written on March 15, 2023
I got more than I expected. Glass is very clear and the scope is easy to use. At 2.5 I can shoot easily with both eyes open. On 10 power I was easily able to see bullet holes in my target at 100 yards. Eye relief is generous so no moving my head around for clear focus. I’m very happy with my purchase.

Primary arms 2.5-10x44 ffp

by Sam, from MA, United States Written on November 15, 2022
This is one of the best spr scope for the $$$. Glass seems quality, no distortion at max magnification. Turret clocks are tactile and zero stop is easy to use. Reticle is easy to use without being too busy.

PA GLx scope

by BC, from AZ, United States Written on November 6, 2022
This scope is robust! The hardened steel adjustment rings are a great feature. I have many PA products and am very impressed with this one. The Griffin Mail ACSS reticle is definitely the right choice. I am looking forward to putting it to work

Currently, this is the best scope that I own

by Rex, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on January 29, 2022
I have 3 rifles with scopes at this point: a bolt action hunting rifle with an older Nikon buckmaster, a .223 with a swampfox arrowhead 1-8x, and a .308 now equipped with this primary arms. I took the .308 out recently to sight it in, and found it quite easy to adjust once I got the hang of the zero stop. When I finally got both my swampfox and primary arms out to compare, I had no idea how tight the eye box on the swampfox really was. The glass clarity on it was pretty good, but the plx is just one big step ahead. The biggest difference is how much easier it is to get behind, especially at lower magnification. The image quality is still very good at 10x. The illumination isn’t “red dot bright” but I don’t need it to be. On overcast days, and in low light, the illumination is just perfect. I am so convinced that this scope is the best for the money, that I am now selling my swampfox to get rid of the Chinese glass… I guess I am slowly becoming an optics snob. Buy one! It’s worth it.
Pros:
  • Very clear glass, great turrets, easy to adjust
Cons:
  • My rifle is heavy now
Best Used for:
  • Aiming at things that are far away

Great Glass & Better Reticle.

by Bill S, Verified Owner from MN, United States Written on June 20, 2020
I have the GLx4 2.5-10x44mm with Acss Raptor M2&Griffin Mil Reticles. These scopes are an amazing value for the money and would easily compete with glass costing twice as much. Glass Clarity is Edge to Edge. Eye box is good even if tighter at full magnification. I have these on a 5.56 SPR& a 6.5 Grendel DMR then Buying the 4-16x .308 Hud DMR instead of the 1-8x platinum for my LW .308 DMR on a POF Revolution DI. If your on the fence do not hesitate as this scope line is hands down my favorite for its amazing quality and excellent price. As I’m an avid Acss fan n run the Aurora Acss TA31 Acog’s on my primary 5.56 guns as well. You won’t be disappointed.
Pros:
  • Glass clarity
  • crisp turrets
  • Value ++++
  • Afforable, great quality
Cons:
  • limited availabilty
Best Used for:
  • SPR/DMR/Recce Type Applications

Great Scope at an affordable price

by SACAR68, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on December 9, 2019
I got this at a close out price. Primary Arms has discontinue the use of certain wording on the scope body due to trademark violation. Even at the normal pricing, this appears to be a very nice scope. The all steel turret design has great, precise click adjustments. The auto on/off illumination feature is also nice. It’s mercury switch based instead of accelerometer based. It’s doesn’t drawn power.

The glass is very nice at the normal price point. I tested it against an Athlon ARes BTR 2.5-10 at 10 power. The Primary Arms has less chromatic aberration, but but seem just a tad less clear.
