Jason0372's Review of Primary Arms SLx 3x Prism Scope w/ ACSS 5.56 Reticle

I really love this scope. There was a little mishap with delivery, meaning I never received the first one that I ordered. Optics planet was great about getting me a quick replacement. That being said the scope is quick to zero. Infact I only had to make a 1 click adjust and it was driving Nail’s. I purchased the 3x version and love it, when I made my purchase I did not realize it was available in 5x. I will be exchanging it for the 5x because it works better for what I need it for. I know there is allot of die hard trijicon fans out there but I would highly recommend giving this one a look. I own a trijicon ACOG and I actually like the reticle marking on this one better. I also found the eye relief to be comparable. I know in the AR world this could be considered a crazy statement but try it for your self and see. I can almost garuntee that once this scope becomes more popular that it will double in price. It is well constructed, has solid glass and next to perfect eye relief. I will admit that the reticle markings take some getting used to, but once you do it is amazing, it has etched markings so there is no Ilumination needed during day time shooting the illumination is fantastic when it is being used. The only con and I wouldn’t even call it a con really is that the base is not thread locked to the scope. I would recommend using blue thread locker and problem solved. For most of us that are avid shooters would do this step for any optic that you purchase. One of those common sense type of things. Last thing I will say is that often times you hear, you get what you pay for. This is not going the case this optic. You actually get much more than you pay for. I fully expect to see this go up in price once it becomes more mainstream. If I had one of these in my combat days in the Marine Corps I could definitively say that this optic would of made my life allot easier in both CQB and distance engagements. I highly advise anyone to give this scope a shot and definitely watch as many videos as you can to learn about the benefits. It takes allot of the math out of the shot. When seconds count this optic has your 6.
