My first high end optic and I'm really happy with its form and function. The view through it is pretty clear and the reticle is perfect. The RDB brightness of the main reticle I can take it or leave it if you want to save a buck and get the older version of this scope that doesn't have that option. The 1x is almost like looking through a red dot with how the scope housing is so thin. The reticle itself, not being an actual dot, is a weird adjustment to get used to. But its no trouble to use on targets 100yds and in. And I have no complaints on the 8x side. Image is good and its easy to do basic holds on its BDC. If you want an optic that gives you the most versatility, this is it.
