Good buy, great optic. - Primary Arms Classic 3X LER GEN IV Red Dot Sights Magnifier

I tried the 6x magnifier first, it's too much magnification to shoot free hand at any range, every movement leads to another overcorrection, only 50% hit rate at 50 yard 8" steel, 100 % without magnifier, it has to be braced to be effective at any range. The 3x "extended eye relief" is far superior. At 100 yds hits are routine and boring, can be braced for any farther distants. Eye relief on the 3x EER is the best I've seen on any magnifier. Both optics were clear and bright, easy to center reticle and hold settings well. If you really need more magnification than the 3x, you'd be better off with a good 1x6 veriable tactical scope and it is useable at close range too.
