Primary arms advanced micro dot with push buttons and up to 50k-hour battery life, md-ads - Primary Arms SLx Micro Red Dot Sight

I installed the Primary Arms Advanced Micro Dot on my Ruger 10/22 rifle. The dot is very well defined and the ease of operation is second to none.I left the unit on for months and the brightness of the dot has not diminished at all.Amazing that the battery will last for over 2083 days, approximately 5.7 years.The unit is bright enough in the brightest sun light that you can see the dot perfectly. I also own several Aimpoint military grade red dots and must say that even at 20% of the Aimpoints price the primary arms unit compares very favorably. I did not give the Micro Dot five stars because I have not tested it in heavy rain yet and because on the very highest power the dot edges are a little fuzzy. This also occurs for the record on my $600 a pop Aimpoints! I will however buy more Primary Arms Red Dots as I think they are a great value, and rolling soda cans at 50 meters as fast as you can pull the trigger never gets old! On a side note I wish everyone in the optics business operated like Optics Planet. They just get the whole customer service, quick delivery, reasonable price thing.
