Ben's Review of Primary Arms The SLx 1x MicroPrism Red Dot Sight

For many years I have not been able to use traditional red dot type optics. Which is odd because when I was younger I used them on pistols, rifles, shotguns and even a crossbow. But, gradually over years instead of seeing a distinct red dot through the scope all I could see was a distorted group of out of focus lights. So, I finally gave up even trying to use them. A few weeks ago I purchased a Sig Sauer MPX PCC and had to find some sort of optic to mount on top of it. I assumed I would have to find a 1X type traditional scope even though this firearm is much better suited for a traditional high quality red dot optic. Fortunately, while I was shopping for a 1X scope I accidentally happened upon an article about the Primary Arms Micro Prism scope. The article mentioned that this scope is especially good for individuals who have developed an eye condition called Astigmatism and who can no longer use traditional red dot optics. Although I had never heard of that medical condition or even Primary Arms, it sounded just like what I was looking for. So, I took a chance and ordered one from Optics Planet. I have to admit that I was shocked and amazed by what I was saw after I installed the battery and looked through it. The reticle image was clear and in near perfect focus. Then, I found out that the rear ring is adjustable and a slight adjustment brought the reticle into perfect focus. I simply could not believe what I was seeing and that I had found the absolute perfect optic to mount on this weapon.
