I had a high end 3X prism and did not like it. Eye box issues. I bought this after buying the new 1X and it is working much better. Also lighter and a much longer battery life expectancy. It is an improvement over their older prisms. I have an older 2X I like but these are a big improvement.

- AR15 carbine
