This light is a good mid-priced light. The light is a little heavy given the need of 4 AA batteries to power it, and could use an extra top strap to help manage the perceived weight. The unit is driving the LED's fairly hard, thus it heats up fairly quickly. Beam quality is good but not great. This light is not a "Thrower" but will do well performing jobs around the camp site, walks around your neighborhood, under the sink and auto repairs, too.
