Pro ears disappointment - Pro Ears Gold II 26 Ear Muffs

My first pair of Pro Ears Gold purchased many years ago were fantastic and lasted a long time. They finally needed replacement and I purchased the Pro Ears Gold 26 Earmuffs. Optics planet is not responsible for the quality of the product I received. I found upon opening the box that the Pro Ears headband would not adjust due to being jammed shut on one side. I put three different sets of new batteries in each ear piece and could get neither to work. Someone at Pro Ears obviously had a bad day. I realize I cannot return these muffs and I'm going to call Pro Ears to try and rectify the problem. What a piece of junk.
