Great product! - Pro Ears Stealth 28 HT Hearing Amplifiers

I am a long time user of ear plugs and electronic ear muffs. Ear muffs (even low profile ones) are too tall to use with many long guns. This is the first time I tried amplified ear plugs. The Stealth 28 HT comes with different size tips, so you can get the best fit. I was concerned these falling out of my ears but it was not a problem. They are simple to use and do a good job blocking loud noises while allowing quiet sounds to come through. I like the beeps that let you know when you have the amplification all the way up/down, and to let you know which compression mode is activated (1 mode for continuous loud noises, another for spikes, like shooting). The sound reduction was very good for the .40 I was shooting indoors, but I could still hear conversations and other things that would be blocked out by standard ear plugs. They are comfortable to wear, and I could easily get a good sight picture with long guns without the hearing protection getting in the way. I tried these in a factory as well and was equally pleased. These reduced the loud equipment noise making it easier to hear conversations, etc. A nice bonus if you live in a cold climate and keep them in your vehicle, it is a lot better than putting on ice cold muffs! I recommend these to my friends and family.
