Not for target shooting - Pro Ears Stealth 28 Hearing Protection

This product seems entirely geared towards hunting; definitely not for target shooting. When turned on, it starts at the highest level of amplification, which maybe is good for a hunter, I don’t know since I don’t hunt. On a shooting range it is just annoying. You immediately have to turn down the amplification to the lowest setting, but even there, these plugs don’t do a satisfactory job, in my opinion. They don’t seem to cut out gun rapport as quickly as they ought to. I am comparing them with my Peltor overhead muffs, which work very well in this regard. I was quite disappointed, because I had great hopes for this product. It seems like with just some minor engineering modifications they could be a great alternative to bulkier muffs. I returned them.
