Nice kit for ruger 10/22 - ProMag Archangel 556 Conversion Stock, Ruger 10/22, Extended Monolithic Rail Forend

I bought this kit to dress up my Ruger 10/22 that I’ve had for decades. The kit is solid and feels great. However, the adjustable stock is way to tight and is difficult to extend and shorten. I used a Dremel to clean up the edges, get rid of some flashing and put a very light coat of grease on it. It’s better, is still way too tight. Yes, I actually removed the set screws for adjusting the tolerance. They made zero difference. The lower took a little bit of adjusting and I ended up needing to heat the upper in the oven to get it to fit. Once that was done, I put the remaining hardware and am pleasantly surprised even with some of the mods I needed to make.
