A fun but heavy upgrade to the standard 10/22 - ProMag Archangel 556 Conversion Stock, Ruger 10/22, Extended Monolithic Rail Forend

You'll see comments here and there calling these things junky but I can't see that at all. The polymer is solid, nicely formed, and quite hefty when all put together. The shoulder stock in particular feels high quality. It's solid and has a nice rubber-sleeve butt pad.
I will say it was a it of a pain to put on and will be even more so to take apart when the time comes for a thorough cleaning. You must be sure to remove your front and rear sight completely. After that, head up the chamber area with a hair dryer for about 30 seconds. Nice and warm to the touch. The receiver should pop right in once the plastic is pliable enough. After that it's just a matter of putting all the screws in. It's really only a tough process for the first timer.
I certainly wouldn't say it's the best stock for the 10/22, but it is a really cool and fun upgrade for AR fans. It adds a decent bit of weight and thickness to the light and slim Ruger classic rifle, so be sure it's what you want before making the purchase. I had a 10/22 gathering dust in a locker with an old wooden stock that I didn't like at all, so for the price this turned it into a snazzy little tacticool rifle.
Pros:
Cool looking with accessory rails and QD mounts
Cons:
Heavy, bulky, and kinda pricey for what you get
Best Used for:
Target shooting
