A little hard to slip onto the rifle at first, but if you show it some love it'll slide right on. - Pro Mag Archangel Extended Length Monolithic Rail Forend

So, I received this product recently after ordering it from Optics Planet as they were really my only solid choice for ordering this "cheaply".

I went to install the extended rail, and had a bit of trouble slipping it on after removing the old shorter rail. First off, the slide-pull was getting in the way, so I had to do a strip and drop the trigger-group out and ultimately remove the slide entirely to progress any further. Then, whoever designed this extension designed it to be SUPER TIGHT against the receiver because I had to literally slam my hand onto the rail to get it to get into place with the receiver so that all the screws lined up (Rail screws on the receiver.) and screwed in without destroying the receiver.

Other than that hiccup, looks great, feels great in my hands, and definitely would recommend as an upgrade kit for the stock Archangel 556 Ruger 10/22 stock replacement kit.

I also like the inclusion of the barrel-float piece of plastic to allow the rifle's barrel to float centered with the rail making it look complete and professional, surprised they didn't include this with the stock configuration!
