Handguard fitting impossible - ProMag Archangel OPFOR Yugo PAP AK Furniture Kit w/Buttstock/Forend/Pistol Grip

I bought this product specifically to use the handguard with picatinny rail section to try and mount a red dot scope on my N-PAP. The handguard could not mount properly as the top and bottom pieces wouldn't fit flush and required grinding. After an intense amount of sanding and retrying to fit, I was finally able to reassemble the handguard but the fit was now too loose as the back end of the handguard apparently required more sanding than the front and I sanded evenly. The stock and handguard fit fine and are a nice upgrade but I am unable to use the part I bought the set for and now must purchase another item to mount the red dot sight. I would not recommend this product if you expect the handguard to have a snug fit.
