Magazine not aligned and will not load shells into chamber - ProMag M1 30 Carbine 5 Round Rifle Magazine

Purchased to be legal to hunt as the requirement is to use no more than a 5 round clip.
I suspect most people that purchase a 5 round clip do it for this reason.
Which means it needs to work with hunting bullets with lead cores and not FMJ's.

Have 10 and 15 round clips that work great in this rifle.
This clip will not load shells because it is not correctly aligned to the chamber lead in.
Thus, the shells hit the sharp corner and will not load.
So, now this clip is just for show.
My son has to load the rifle one shell at a time in the chamber turning the rifle into a single shot.

To be fair, it "might" work with a FMJ shell. The softer lead tips of hunting bullets are getting caught.
When the shell is removed can see the flat mark on the lead where it contacted the edge and would not load.
