Archangel deluxe target stock: heavy....and steady. - ProMag Ruger 10/22 Magnum Archangel Deluxe Target Stock AATS1022M

Don't review much. Generally...if a product works well, it'll sell itself. But there are MANY stocks available for Ruger's 10/22, and lost among them are the stocks for the Ruger 10/22 WMR (.22 Magnum): There are VERY FEW around. I picked up an Archangel Deluxe Target Stock from OpticsPlanet. It replaced my standard Ruger hardwood configuration with a Rock-Solid, fully adjustable platform, purpose-built for accuracy. I've never looked back....
It is a heavy stock: Combined with the Ruger's steel receiver, an 18" bull barrel, and a Vortex scope...she's a handful. That said, Every Part of your firearm is Fully Supported. Your length of comb is tunable. And...you could literally hang your dang Christmas Tree on it, given the insane number of MLOC and other various hard-points built into this thing. It even has an adjustable insert...for under your barrel...to add support, if you've gone carbon-fiber.
This stock "wraps" itself around the rifle's receiver and barrel block...Tightly. There is NO movement in this stock...no flex. Tighten the main stock screw up -- and FaGetAboutIt.
I did not go carbon-fiber. My barrel came from F.J. Feddersen, Inc....of Loudon, TN. The 18" Bull-profile fits flawlessly in the Archangel, as if made for it. In this cradle of a stock, accuracy becomes a personal issue...between the shooter and himself.
I highly recommend this stock to you. If you are shooting, or plan to shoot, the Ruger 10/22 Magnum, you must consider it. Not only will you have few choices available, but you've already found OpticsPlanet...unquestionably the best place to get yourself one.
