It uses ambient light, no batteries required! Using a flashlight will enhance the brightness. Great to bring to the range, or, to add to your cleaning kit. Just slip it into the chamber, positioned to a light source, then check the barrel for cleanliness, obstructions, etc.
Pros:
- No batteries required! Excellent for a quick check at the range, or, adding to your current cleaning kit.
