Great budget stock for custom build budget precision rifle - ProMag Archangel Howa 1500 Hogue Long Action Precision Stock w/5-Round Follower Magnum Caliber 6-Round Magazine

I don't have $3,000-$5,000 to spend on a long range set rifle set up to get into the sport and competition shooting so I went super cheap, but best quality I could go knowing I have a lot of experience with DIY upgrading and modifying budget items to get high end results. Yes, that's a thing if you take your time. Anyway, I got this at a deal for about $130. Out of the box it was too light for my purpose, and had a cheap hollow feeling, and the adjustment dials for cheek rest and shoulder pad were really tough to turn. With epoxy, and steel BB's and ingenuity I got this stock beefed up and then added an Arca rail to the fore end and spray finished it FDE with black striations and splatter. I now have a stock that would likely be priced at $350-$500 or more and I'm very pleased! I also epoxy bedded the barreled action to the stock even though it has pillar bedding.
