Cat's Review of Proof Research AR Steel 6mm ARC Threaded Rifle Barrel

I have not shot this barrel yet, but it fits nicely in my upper and everything is machined well and is properly deburred. The riffling looks great when looking at it with a bore scope. I have high hopes for this barrel. If you are looking for a light carry rifle, this isn't for you, but I bought a 22" barrel, so I am not planning on using this as a carry rifle.
Pros:
  • Very well machined.
  • Rifeling looks really good.
Cons:
  • If you don't like heavy barrels this isn't for you.
Best Used for:
  • Tripod hunting.
  • Bench shooting.
