Awesome piece of kit for pest control. - Pulsar Apex XD50 Thermal Rifle Scope

This is an awesome piece of kit. Although Ive not used it on an AR, even with a .223, bolt action and 10 shot mag, It will shoot wallabies and rabbits non stop in the pitch black as fast as you can reload. They are toast.

My best is probably around the 50 wallabies average/hour over 3 hours. Rabbits, mounted on a .17 shot 120 from one position in 1 hour 20 minutes , and that was with three breaks to let the barrel cool off a bit.

Used it for a year 3 times a week off a quad and that gives it a real beating. There is always movement and jolting driving over rough ground for hours every night shoot. Took over a year for the sensor to develop a problem and it was completely rebuilt with new sensor for me free of charge. Definitely a robust piece of gear.

Might be a big outlay, but it does the biz.
