I have used a couple different Pulsar products over the years that my friends owned and finally decided to invest in some of my own as I have gotten more opportunities to go hunting/shooting at night.
I really like how sleek and traditional this setup is, packing all the technology into a traditional 30mm diameter tube setup. I mostly use it on ARs but I could easily set it up on a bolt action rifle so I love the flexibility.
The controls are really easy to use and fairly intuitive, allowing you to comfortably keep your eye behind the optic while manipulating settings.
The performance is very impressive compared to what digital night vision was like even 4-5 years ago. The included IR illuminator helps on the darker nights and I love that it can be adjusted for where its pointing as well as intensity.
The battery setup on this is pretty slick with one internal and one external (neatly hidden in the elevation turret). The IR uses the same battery which is great.
The features are all excellent, from the reticle options to the picture in picture setting.
Really makes hitting your target at night effortless.
