Michael's Review of Pulsar Helion 2 XP50 2.5-20 Thermal Monocular
I had the Leopold Tracker 2 before this model and found it to be next to useless out in the field due to small screen and short range. The Pulsar gives a fantastic long range image and offers video recording as well. Of course, it costs a lot more than the Leopold. I have come to the conclusion that when it comes to thermal scopes and viewers there is no free lunch. You are going to have to pay if you want quality. With the pulsar you can see very small differences in temperature. This definitely aids in identification of the potential prey you have spotted. More than spotting prey it allows me to get to the blind in a way which I can avoid frightening animals which might already be there.
I am sure that almost any hunter would be happy with this monocular. I suspect with the pro model coming out soon there will be some discounts available on this one.
