Let’s face it, no one leaves their thermal scope permanently attached. So rather than chain it to your gun, free them both up to play nicely with others. But perhaps the biggest benefit is that your thermal rifle scope becomes a thermal monocular once removed. Use it while hanging out the window of your ride without having to dangle your gun outside. Once your target has been acquired, mount up and get to shooting. I can’t imagine hunting without this...
