Long run value - Puma Knives Germany White Hunter Fixed Blade Knife, 5.9in Blade, Stag

My White Hunter was purchased by me from money I got for my 10th birthday back in 1960. The slogan on the presentation box was "sharp as a razor, strong as an ax". I have found this to be true in the over 50 years that I have owned it. One of the features that has allowed me to keep up with the knife all this time is the hole in the handle that allows a leather loop on the sheath to be pushed through and looped back over. It is a bit large for field dressing medium to small deer but it comes into it's own when butchering and skinning larger game animals. The size also is great for splitting sticks for fire starting. I purchased two of these knives for my adult sons and they also love their WH Knives.
