You can spend a lot of money on eye protection, and I've heard stories from dealers about DEA agents always wearing this or that brand when they charge the front door of a drug house, believing that the brand in question will stop a shotgun pellet headed for their eyes. I don't know if the stories are true and I don't know if this or any other eye protection will stop a high velocity pellet, but if you're going to the range you just want something to keep the brass and debris off your face, and these do the job at a very attractive price point. Add in the fact that for us...ahem...more mature shooters need reading lenses to see stuff right in front of us, and the added +2.0 reading lenses (you have a range of powers to choose from) really do the job. If you're going to be charging drug house front doors, maybe do some more research.
Pros: Inexpensive, decent quality
Cons: Might not stop a pellet
