G-Sling from Q
Durable sling, looks great, comes with two Sling Devils for easy attachment.
Most Helpful Negative Review
The sling to use if you're determined to use Q's "sling devil."
Q makes some great stuff. The sling devil is the answer to a question nobody asked. They have 5-7 minute videos hyping it as the greatest thing since sliced bread, but only spending seconds - not nearly enough - time showing how to use it. If you use it on any sling that doesn't terminate in paracor...

Much Darker
The actual sling is way much darker than the one depicted on the listing. Also, considerably overpriced for what you get but it's a "Q" product, so...
Pros:
- No metal to damage firearm.
Cons:
- overpriced.
Best Used for:
- Collectable
- Collectable/Novelty Item.

Buttery soft and thin enough I almost can’t tell I’m wearing it at all
Who doesn’t love a g string!!! Cmon! This is Great low profile light weight sling. Its paracord teathers and claws are secure and customizable (I tied a knot in my paracord below the claw so it wills loosely loop around sling points. Adjusts well, could use a dangle to pull the adjustment. I bout a second one for my other rifle and to replace a $90 vickers blue gear something or other.
Pros:
- Everything
Cons:
- nothing
Best Used for:
- rifle sling

Q sling is really all you need.
At first I thought the sling was a little too spartan with no padding or quick release tabs. But, in facts it’s comfortable enough, minimalist and very quiet with no metal parts. It’s really all you need until you’re using for hours in backcountry. For a duty or everyday sling it’s enough. Connectors are it’s important feature and very useful.
Pros:
- Light weight and minimalistic
Cons:
- No Padding
Best Used for:
- Range and everyday carry
Would recommend: Yes
Good sling
nice sling with a different style of mounting. Nice because it doesn’t make metal on metal noises
Pros:
- light weight
- slim
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- AR15
Would recommend: Yes
perfect for ar-22 pistol
Switches between my .22 and .338 upper and unlike a QD sling stud it moves more freely on the QD hole on the HDPDW brace. Perfect match if you use the HDPDW brace!

as sweet as an actual g string
I’m happy with the sling, the material is softer than a bfg sling and feels good in hand. The hardware is all plastic which isn’t a bad thing for a non combat sling, if your looking to jump into Iraq then I would only recommend a bfg sling with metal hardware, but for a hunting rifle this is more than sufficient. I was skeptical of the devil dicks it whatever they call them because it’s not an attachment that “locks” in, but I’ve banned this rifle around plenty and have had zero issue for basic stalking/hunting needs
Pros:
- Smooth
- Easy
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- non combat
