In all honesty I don't know how the chair would be for comfort or function ability. It arrived damaged. One of the lower legs was broke off. There wasn't any apparent damage to the shipping box. But the feel of the product was that it was made of a very brittle plastic. I would imagine in super cold weather this could even be more problematic of something snapping off. I could see that if it were dropped something would probably chip off the chair. I returned the product for a refund.
