Favorite safety - Radian Weapons Talon Ambidextrous Safety Selector 2-Lever KIT

This is THE go-to safety that I use for all of my AR builds. I find that the ambi safety is so intuitive to use that mil spec safeties just feel wrong. I also run my safeties with the 45 degrees option. I did discover though that you absolutely must use their safety detent pins if you are running with the 45 degree throw. This is because standard spring detent pins found in cheaper lower parts kits are so soft that they easily get their points chewed off. If damaged enough, the safety can fail to block trigger movement. This kit comes with a much harder safety detent pin, so please remove the older pin and use the pin that comes with this kit.
