Nathan Schwappach's Review of Rainier Arms AR UltraMatch MOD2 6mm ARC Rifle Barrel
This barrel is sub MOA all day, at least the one I got. Five shot groups are constantly less than .9 MOA
It really liked my 90 gn TGK. And I can get them going 2700 FPS.
My only complaint is that I think this needs a tuning redesign. Rainier’s rifle +1 tube is not a good choice for this 18 inch barrel. There is not enough dwell time. It works excellent once paired with suppressor. In order to make this work with my mid weight grain, projectiles, I had to use a home modified 2.5 oz less than standard carbine buffer. I had to match it to a -20% spring. And use a fixed gas block, because the tunable gas block wasn’t allowing enough gas through. Great barrel in terms of accuracy, I would recommend to Rainier to switch to a rifle or mid length tube, and possibly to open the gas Porte a little bit more. Maybe a chance mine was simply ported incorrectly.
