Deacon's Review of Ravin Match Weight Lighted Bolts 400Gr

I love my Ravin R26 crossbow and the lighted bolts. I am teaching my 10 yr old grandson to hunt with my crossbow and to be able to film the flight of the bolt is an advantage. He has missed two bucks this year but both times I was able to show him how he missed high on his shot. The other advantage is the ease of finding the bolts after shooting. I usually go back out after dark and walk the area and the lighted nock is easy to spot.
Pros:
  • Easy to track and find
  • Ravin makes great equipment
Cons:
  • Not easy to turn light off after shooting
Best Used for:
  • hunting
