venture996's Review of Ray-Ban RB2132 New Wayfarer Sunglasses
After seven years of heavy use I finally did it, I broke my Ray Bans! I dropped them on the floor and then stepped on them. Entirely my fault, but I had to get replacements. I was initially hesitant to buy replacements online, but since I buy a lot of stuff online I figured it was worth some research; which led me to Optics Planet.
I loved my old Wayfarers for their classic look and great comfort (I sometimes take six hour drives and believe me, uncomfortable sunglasses can make a tough drive even worse). I was able to get exactly what I wanted. My original pair had polarized lenses, but I found that when I glanced at my cell phone (nope, I never text and drive) it was tough to read, so I went with the non-polarized Green tint lenses. Three days later I had the new Ray Bans in hand. The are absolutely authentic, and are exactly what I wanted. Comfortable, good looking, and work great, even in that always difficult low winter sun.
In terms of maintenance, I found that cleaning them with the included lint free cloth is the best thing, and then occasionally washing them with warm soapy water to remove any oil.
